We all know the importance of sex in relationship or how the absence of sex from a relationship affects the duo. But, there is more to sex than just enjoyment or its use for procreation—the various health benefits that he/she reap for indulging in regular sex.
Having regular sex brings a host of psychological and physiological advantages for both the both couples.
According to a research done by Queens University correlating the health benefits and with sexual frequency, it was found that men who reported to have highest number of sex enjoyed a death rate half that of people who are laidback when it come to lovemaking.
The study was done on around 1,000 middle-aged men over a period of one decade.
The other findings were that even having sex few times a week has its own health benefits that will keep a man or woman in a better mood.
Reduces depression: This benefit is especially for women. The woman whose hubby didn’t use condom during sex is less likely to feel depression than that woman whose husband indulged in sex with out condom.
Pain-killer: Sex also eases pain. Just before one attains orgasm there is an increase in the levels of oxytocin, which in turn releases endorphins that eases headache, arthritis pain to even migraine.
Boosts immune system: An individual who has sex once or twice a week show 30% higher levels of an antibody called immunoglobulin A that boosts the immune system.
Better sense of smell: increase in the production of prolactin hormone has a direct link with sex. Its production increases after having sex that in turn causes stem cells in the brain to develop new neurons in the brain's olfactory bulb, which is a smell center.
Reduced risk of heart disease: There is less risk of heart attack or stroke, if you indulge in sex three or more times a week, men reduced their risk of heart attack or stroke by half.
Helps in loosing weight: Sex is one of the best forms of workouts. A vigorous sexual act burns around 200 calories, which is same as running 15 minutes on a treadmill or playing squash for the same period. You will be surprised to know that when a person is aroused his heartbeat increases from 70 beats per minute to 150. Apart from boosting the production of testosterone, muscular contractions during intercourse strengthens the pelvis, thighs, buttocks, arms and neck etc.
But all these benefits or the pleasure of lovemaking could be affected if one is suffering from any other diseases and it gets worse if one is diagnosed with erectile dysfunction (ED).
These days, there are umpteen numbers of treatments available to cure ED. One such drug that has been proved to be highly effective is Cialis.
Cialis belongs to a group of medicines called phosphodiesterase type 5 inhibitors. Following sexual stimulation Cialis works by helping the blood vessels in your penis to relax, allowing the flow of blood into your penis. The result of this is improved erectile function.
